A letter from Gardenia to Glasorden
My Sweet Laurel,
I received your letter. It was very sweet. I love your handwriting. No one ever said that my hair glowed before...or called my eyes warm and loving...I love your eyes, too. Their icy blue color relaxes me when I look into them, and they're filled with so much love for me. I've never felt anything like it before-it makes me feel safe after the way I've been treated by other men in the past. I'm sure you'd know about things like that. When you touch me, you treat every part of me like it's precious and delicate-I've never felt so beautiful before. I miss your warm arms and your soft, gentle touch and the sweet sound of your voice when you call me your 'Skitty'. Even in the paradise of Eterna City, the nights are so long and cold without you.
I admire your cool determination that you show when you battle. Thinking about you gives me confidence in my battles. Roserade actually managed to take down a Metagross a few days ago. Our practice battles really paid off. Perhaps I could be an Elite Four trainer, but I don't think that I really want that life. I don't want to be away from my garden or my faithful Junior Trainers. I almost love Rose like a daughter. Of course, I feel like a mother sometimes, keeping her out of trouble. Please come back soon. I miss you so much.
